Cookie Management Policy

Our Cookie Usage Policy provides you with a better understanding of our website browsing arrangements. It informs you in particular about all the cookies present on our website, their purpose and gives you the steps to follow to configure them.

A – GENERAL INFORMATION ON COOKIES ON THE PAYROLL SITE

PAYROLL may place a cookie on the hard drive of your terminal (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) in order to ensure that your browsing on our website is smooth, appropriate and optimal.

Cookies are small text files of limited size that allow us to recognise your computer, tablet or mobile phone in order to personalise the services we offer you.

The information collected through cookies does not allow you to be identified by name in any way. They are used exclusively for our own purposes in order to improve the interactivity and performance of our website and to send you content tailored to your interests. None of this information is communicated to third parties except where PAYROLL has obtained your prior consent or where disclosure of this information is required by law, by order of a court or any administrative or judicial authority empowered to deal with it. A tag on all the pages of the site allows the USER’s data to be stored on the Intercom profile form at the time of connection (+ login).

B – SETTING YOUR COOKIE PREFERENCES

You can accept, reject or adjust the settings for cookies at any time.

When you first log on to the PAYROLL website, a banner with information about the placing of cookies and similar technologies appears on your screen. A banner will show you the option to accept or decline cookies.

Depending on the type of cookie in question, your consent to the placing and reading of cookies on your terminal may be required.

a. Cookies exempt from consent

In accordance with the recommendations of the French National Data Protection Commission (CNIL), certain cookies do not require your consent within the meaning of Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, insofar as they are strictly necessary for the operation of the website or have the sole purpose of enabling or facilitating communication by electronic means. These include session ID cookies, authentication cookies, load balancing session cookies, and cookies that personalise your interface. These cookies are fully subject to this policy insofar as they are issued and managed by PAYROLL.

b. Cookies requiring your prior consent

This requirement concerns cookies issued by third parties and which are classified as “persistent” in that they remain on your terminal until they are deleted or expire.

As such cookies are issued by third parties (listed below), their use and storage are subject to their own privacy policies.

Audience measurement cookies establish statistics concerning the traffic and use of various elements of the website (such as the content/pages you have visited). This data is used to improve the ergonomics of the PAYROLL site. An audience measurement tool is used on the app.Intercom.com site.

C. YOU HAVE VARIOUS TOOLS FOR CONFIGURING COOKIES

Most Internet browsers are set up by default to allow cookies to be placed. Your browser offers you the opportunity to modify these standard settings so that all cookies are rejected systematically, or so that only some of the cookies are accepted or rejected, depending on their sender.

ATTENTION: We would like to inform you that refusing to place cookies on your terminal is nevertheless likely to alter your user experience as well as your access to certain services or features of this site. If necessary, PAYROLL does not accept any liability concerning the consequences linked to the degradation of your browsing conditions which occur because of your choice to refuse, delete or block the cookies necessary for the functioning of the site. These consequences shall not constitute damage and you shall not be entitled to any compensation as a result.

Your browser also allows you to delete existing cookies on your terminal or to notify you when new cookies are likely to be placed on your terminal. These settings do not affect your browsing experience, but you lose all the benefits of the cookie. Please see below for the various tools available to you for adjusting the settings of the cookies placed on your terminal.
